A piece of Columbia’s past reimagined for the future: leaders dedicate Oaks at St. Anna’s
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A piece of the Soda City’s past is now reimagined for the future, as Columbia Housing Authority leaders, developers, and neighbors gathered Friday to dedicate the Oaks at St. Anna’s.
The Oaks is a new housing development built on the site of Gonzales Gardens, once one of the oldest public housing complexes in the country.
The community is now fully leased with all 285 units occupied.
